Dear Mariano,
I would like to inform you about state of our affairs.
1. We digitized two reversed shot points 19 and 11 (totally about 70
seismograms, 3500 traces) using DGS program. Editing and joining of the
traces were made with help of Synapse program SNDA. At last all the
data were transformed into format SEG-Y and using conventional program
i X L reduced record section was obtained. In an
example I send you we can see all main crustal waves. I hope we can
improve signal/noise ratio in this picture later. Thus , INTAS project
goes on but not so fast as we all wish.
2. Our team changed. Instead of Konstantin Zavodnik (he is very busy
by his studding) came Mstislav Ravkin. He graduated from Moscow Oil and
Gas Institute, but his scientific level needs improvement. Now our team
consist of:
Yurov Yuri, Zavodnik Nikolai (50 %), Orlova Olga, Makhova Olga (50%),
Subotcheva Natalia (50%), Ravkin Mstislav (Slava).
So I think we need an additional qualified person which I try to find.
3. We need an extra PC with monitor because now we can not use all three working places for digitizing. We can purchase the equipment if General Bank can transfer 6224 USD in any bank in Moscow which now is in agreement with INTAS. This money is a debt of INTAS. It is difference between 61000 USD which was transferred from Moscow to General Bank and 54776 USD which General Bank paid our contract with Roy International.
4. I agree with V. Geyko's proposals concerning a new 3 years project.
Admit our best wishes for a happy New Year and Merry Christmas
Yuri and all Moscow Team.
