Subject: RE: [Fwd: From Moscow]

Dear Prof  Maistrello,
Thank you for the e-mails: the information for Milan is fine and I can agree on 13,422 Euro.

The difference between Moscow and ourselves arises because of differences in exchange rates at different times of the year when we made the conversions between currencies which was not necessarily the periods of the transfers. Moscow sohuld not however suffer over this. Thus, as the exchange rate during the period of the inital transfer and the payments to Roy varied between 1.06 and 1.09 $/Euro, INTAS is willing to accept the calculation of Prof Yurov in US$ and make the final conversition at the rate of 1.064$/Euro as suggested.
INTAS should therefore pay Moscow 11,347.82 Euro as requested.

Best wishes,
David Gould
